Cletus E. Olebunne, Executive Director

Cletus conceived the Nigerian Entrepreneurial Leadership concept. Cletus is an accomplished scientist and entrepreneur in the global pharmaceutical industry. He is the founded Eastern Pharmaceuticals—a global distributor of active pharmaceutical ingredients and raw materials. Cletus is also the founder of Impact Waste Management Services, a solid and hazardous waste management company.

Mr. Olebunne graduated from University of Ilorin, Nigeria with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, and from Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, New York with an MBA in General Management and Entrepreneurship. He received a postgraduate certificate in International Business and Finance from New York University.

Before immigrating to the U.S. for further education and professional engagements, Cletus served a one year national Youth Service program as a biology teacher at Government College, Ilorin, and worked with the Defense Department at the Nigerian High Commission in London.

As a professional biochemist, Cletus worked at Columbia University Medical Center—the University Hospital of Cornell and Columbia Universities. His professional experience also includes working with various Clinical Research Organizations, and pharmaceutical regulatory bodies—IRB. Cletus holds the following memberships, Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), American Chemical Society (ACS), and American Management Association (AMA).

Mr. Olebunne is the author of The Way It Is: Ideas and Solutions for Entrepreneurs—a business book for start-ups and growth companies, published by Hudson Publications Company, New York, a law and business publishing company also co-founded by Cletus Olebunne. As a founding partner of CEO Management Company, Cletus runs an Internet company, “Profitability Goal Team™” where he advices small and medium size business owners on how to better management their businesses for continues profitability.

Cletus is more engaged in the Waste Management Industry. He runs a New Jersey based waste management company, Impact Waste Management Services -- a solid and hazardous waste collection and disposal company.
